An experienced Senior Rigger opportunity within Brown Bag Films Dublin Studio!
Successful Candidate will rig allocated characters, props and environments for the designated show, in line with the workflow and pipeline needs and to a consistent style and the quality level required. Also, is going to contribute to the development of the rigging tools and workflows.
*Designing, creating, testing and maintaining character set ups.
*Collaborating with animators to design motion controls.
*Creating secondary dynamics systems to aid animation.
*Providing technical feedback to modelling department to ensure topology meets deformation requirements.
*Working with production management to prioritize tasks.
*Troubleshooting problems with rigs in production.
*Performing technical checks and quality control on overseas and in-house assets. *Ensuring outsource partner has clear direction on BBF rigging requirements.
*Thorough understanding of the requirements for animation and rigging and how to create and edit rigs.
*Know how to design rigs.
*Experience of remote and/or outsource management (desirable).
-Working knowledge of rigging in Maya.
Should the Covid19 restrictions still apply we are looking for successful candidate to start remotely first and then relocate to Dublin office on a full time basis once restrictions are removed. Must be able to work remote should the restrictions apply.
